Our Ceiling Paintings

These were painted in about the mid-50's by an artist with no hands. They were probably painted in the basement and then the canvas was attached to our ceiling. They were placed over the larger original ceiling paintings (we have no information on their origin or topics). Many parishioners still remember him working and chatting in the hotel.
During the Church Tour in 2009 we met two people who knew him as a personal friend.
His paintings are still vivid but the canvas is beginning to separate from the ceiling plaster. Plans are being to restore them when sufficient money is raised to repaint the church interior (maybe by 2011)
